Description
Bee Supportive is a graffiti botanical in the Overgrowth Collection where street art ephemera, botanicals, bees and other garden creatures “grow” over a classic image—signaling the “death” to outdated modalities and social norms. Bee Supportive is a visual prayer for kindness in a world that had been increasingly and sadly divided. Where loyalties are questioned, this is about the common a common thread of hope that binds each and every one of us. Reinterpreted foundational portrait by American artist Abbott Handerson Thayer (1849-1921) of his children Gerald and Mary Thayer.
